Attorney Joseph Pigato of Chicago Heights; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Joseph R. Pigato with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from

The Attorney Disciplinary Commission found Bennett guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joseph ordered his administrative assistant to sign a will as a witness, even though the will had not yet been signed by his client and when the client was not then present.

Making matters worse, Joey also signed the will as an additional witness, despite the fact that the client had not signed it and was not in his presence at the time.

Subsequently, Joey filed the falsely-witnessed will in court. He also improperly notarized the client’s signature on a trust document.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Bennett by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013) Joseph practices with Joseph R. Pigato, Ltd at 20200 Ashland Avenue in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
