Attorney Blaine Goode of Salem, IN; lying loser

The state of Indiana provided Blaine Steven Goode with a law license in 2002

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Blaine guilty of the following misconduct.

At the time of his misconduct, Blaine was employed as the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Washington County.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a third person
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

In one matter, Blaine improperly seized the notes taken by a defendant during a deposition in a criminal proceeding and then attempted to conceal the seizure when questioned by the defendant’s attorney.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Blaine by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 20123) Blaine continues to be employed as a Deputy Prosecutor for Washington County.
