Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL): Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-SC)

Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

Over the past thirty (30) years, Ileana has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. From 1983 through 2013, Ileana has relied on government paychecks from the state of Florida and the U.S. Government to pay her living expenses.

Ileana is yet another Certified Moron and Lunatic that succeeded in duping the voters into electing her to the U.S. House of Representatives.

In a recent attempt to cement her status as a Certified Moron, Ileana decided to speak on the issue of the chemical gassing by President Assad of Syria. The Moron then said that if Ronald Reagan was the current president, the U.S. would never be in a situation it finds itself in regarding Syria.

As to Assad’s use of chemical weapons, the Moron said:

  • “I know that President Reagan would have never let this happen. He would stand up to this.”
  • “And President Obama … the only reason he is consulting with Congress, he wants to blame somebody for his lack of resolve.”
  • "We have to think like President Reagan would do and he would say chemical use is unacceptable."

The problem with the Moron’s idiotic rant is the fact that Reagan was president when Saddam Hussein gassed thousands of Kurds in Iraq in 1989. Likewise, Reagan was president when Hussein gassed thousands of Iranian soldiers. Not only did Reagan do nothing about the use of chemical agents by Hussein, it was his administration that sold the chemicals to Hussein.

It is absolutely amazing that morons like Ileana and those of her ilk are able to dupe the voters into electing them to Congress.

Congrats Ileana; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Morons”; you are far too humble.
