Attorney Christopher Sheek of Greenwood, SC; unethical Dumbo

 
The State of South Carolina presented Christopher Lance Sheek with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.
 
Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Faield to keep clients reasonably informed of status of legal matter
  4. Failed to respond to client request for information
  5. Engaged in a conflict of interest
  6. Failed to reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after being discharged
  7. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a consequence of him misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2013), Chris practices with Geoly, Sheek and Merritt, LLC in Greenwood, South Carolina.
