Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Michael is another right wing nutcase that is also an attorney who succeeded in duping the voters into electing him to Congress in November 2010.
Michael graduated magna scum laude from NYU in 2002 and is unfortunately licensed to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
In order to toss a little red meat to his right wing constituents, Mike decided to spew forth some BS in regards to a proposal from the Obama administration to fund the introduction of high-speed internet to every classroom in the country. It is estimated that the proposal would increase the annual cell phone bills by about $4.00 a year.
In attacking Obama’s proposal, Screwy Mike said in part:
“He [Obama] has an agenda and he’s going to do whatever he has to do to pass that agenda, regardless of the Constitution.”
“I mean, I think our founding fathers are turning over in their graves right now because he’s just so blatant in his — the administrators, the people he puts in charge of these agencies are bold and brazen about saying, ‘yes, we’re going to make an end run around Congress.’”
Of course Screwy Mike didn’t express any outrage when Congress refused to eliminate the tax deduction for the purchase of fancy yachts for millionaires and billionaires.
Congrats Mike; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
