Attorney Melvin Fink of Ludlow, VT; ethical dwarf

The state of Vermont presented Melvin D. Fink with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from New England Law School.

The Vermont Bar Court found Melvin guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly disobeyed a court order
  • Improperly alluded to a matter during trial he knew was not relevant or admissible
In one matter involving a criminal case, Melvin introduced prejudicial evidence that was directly contradicted the trial court’s previous ruling. Melvin’s misconduct led to the court being required to declare a mistrial.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Melvin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Dec 2011) Melvin practices at 104 Main Street in Ludlow, Vermont.
