Attorney Charles Evans of Birmingham, MI; repeat offender

The state of Michigan provided Charles B. Evans with a law license in 1967.

A disciplinary hearing panel found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Failed to pay costs as ordered re: prior discipline
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigation (Up Yours, said Charles!)
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Charles’ 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 6-month suspension for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Charles by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2013) Charles continues to practice in the Birmingham, Michigan area, which is a suburb of Detroit.
