Attorney David Davies of Scottsdale, AZ; ethical dwarf

The state of Arizona presented David G. Davies with a law license in 1959 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. David was also presented with a law license from the state of Wisconsin in 1953.

The Arizona State Bar found David guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  2. The victims of David’s misconduct were vulnerable
  3. Engaged in a obvious conflict of interest
  4. Failed to advise client that she should seek independent counsel
In one matter, David prepared a testamentary trust and subsequent amendments to the trust that designated David as one of the beneficiaries of his client’s estate.

Subsequently, David prepared amendments to the trust that substantially increased his share of his client’s trust.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2013), David practices at 7425 East Rainey Ranch Road in Scottsdale, Arizona.
