Attorney James Dukat of Canton, OH; ethical leprechaun

The state of Ohio presented James Charles Dukat with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Notre Dame University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found James guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, James participated in a fraudulent scheme concocted by a company’s financial officer to file a false payroll report in order to minimize the amount of workers’ compensation premiums that the company was statutorily required to pay.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Patricia by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2013), James is employed as a Collections Paralegal for the Day Ketterer Law Firm in Canton, Ohio.
