Attorney Thomas Wolven of Lansing, MI; ethical leprechaun

The state of Michigan provided Thomas M.L. Wolven with a law license in 1974.

Attorney Discipline Board, Wayne County Hearing Panel #24 found Thomas guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Thomas called two clients to testify with the inherent knowledge and expectation that they would perjure themselves.

Thomas then went about eliciting from his clients under oath on direct testimony which he absolutely knew was false and took no action to call upon his clients to recant their perjured testimony. Furthermore, Thomas took no action to rectify the fraud her helped in perpetrating on the trial court.

Making matters worse, Thomas submitted a false statement in connection with the investigation of said perjured testimony.

Because Attorney Misfits in Michigan are held to a much lower stand of conduct then everyone else, Thomas wasn’t criminally charged for suborning perjury or for obstructing justice.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

It is absolutely appalling that the comedians sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court would allow someone to retain their license after being found guilty of suborning perjury.

As we speak (ca. February 2013) Thomas practices with the State Office of Administrative Hearings & Rules at 611 West Ottawa Street in Lansing, Michigan.
