Attorney Richard Alan II of West Palm Beach; ethical misfit

The state of Florida presented Richard Keith Alan II with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Florida State Bar along with the Texas State Bar found Richard guilty of the following misconduct.

Richard improperly contacted a dismissed juror weeks after a case concluded, causing emotional anguish to the juror.

Richard also engaged in inappropriate courtroom behavior by arriving more than an hour late to a jury selection process, in which he was unable to be reached by the judge’s assistant.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits in Florida sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Richard practices at 301 Clematis Street in West Palm Beach, Florida.
