The state of Florida presented Andrea Ruth Bateman with a law license in 1974 after she graduated from Stetson University Law School.
 
The Florida State Bar found Andrea guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  2. Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  3. Improperly used trust funds for purposes other which they were entrusted to her
  4. Failed to maintain original or duplicate deposit slips as required
  5. Failed to maintain original canceled checks
  6. Failed to maintain a cash receipts and disbursements journal
  7. Failed to maintain copies of all monthly comparisons and reconciliations
  8. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  9. Failed to properly communicate with client
  10. Failed to provide information client regarding status of legal matter
  11. Failed to explain matter necessary to permit client to make informed decisions re: representation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits in Florida sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Andrea by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. July 2013) Andrea continues to practice in the Winter Park, Florida area.
