Attorney Edward Larvadain, Jr. of Alexandria, LA; potty mouth loser

The state of Louisiana presented Edward Larvadain, Jr. with a law license in 1966.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Edward guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Made a false statement re: qualifications of a federal judge
  2. Engaged in conduct he knew to be unfair to opposing counsel
  3. Knowingly put forth a claim he knew to be without merit
  4. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
In one matter, Edward was sanctioned $400 by federal Judge F. A. Little for submitting a post-trial brief that contained offensive language. When Edward failed to pay the $400 as ordered, he was suspended from practicing before the Federal District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

In another matter, Edward was involved in a child custody proceeding. Judge W. Ross Foote ruled against Edward’s client. Judge Foote had planned to have a meeting with the attorneys, and sign the judgment quickly, because it involved transporting the children from Louisiana to another state.

Edward then asked Judge Foote to meet with him privately which opposing counsel agreed was acceptable. Shortly after they entered Judge Foote’s chambers, the following conversation took place.

Judge Foote: “What are we doing?”
Edward: “You know, you’ve been fucking me too many times, Ross. And if you fuck me again, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Edward: You’re a motherfucking racist.” Your daddy’s a racist. Your children will be racist. It’s in your blood.”
Judge Foote: “Well, Ed, you know, we’ve got to find a ground to talk.”
Edward: I’m just telling you, if you fuck me again, I don’t know what I’ll do.”
Judge Foote: “Are you threatening me?”
Edward: “All I’m telling you is if you fuck me again and I get my hands on you, you may not come away alive.”

Because Attorney Misfits in Louisiana are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Edward was never criminally charged with threatening to harm or kill a federal judge.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Edward by gifting her with a stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Edward practices at 626 8th Street in Alexandria, Louisiana.
