Attorney Robert Landry of New Orleans; ethical misfit

The state of Louisiana presented Robert J. Landry with a law license in 1960 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Calvin guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Robert represented Marlin Franklin and members of his family in several legal matters over the course of many years.

In this instance, Robert represented Mr. Franklin, a taxi driver, in regards to two minor auto accidents. During the time period involved, Robert failed to file suit timely in the two personal injury matters. Said negligence resulted in the passing of the statute of limitations and the loss of those claims by Mr. Franklin.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Calvin by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Robert practices at 320 North Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana.
