Attorney Neil Duffy III of Union, NJ; repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented Neil Duffy III with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Neil guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  2. Misconduct involved gross neglect
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to return unearned fees (crook)
  5. Engaged in a pattern of neglect of client matters

As one would suspect this wasn’t Neil’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. The enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court previously punished Neil by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the comedians sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Neil by gifting him with his second (2nd) complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Neil practices at 2100 Morris Avenue in Union, New Jersey.
