Attorney Donald Bedell, Jr. of Fair Haven, NJ; forger

The state of New Jersey presented Donald W. Bedell, Jr. with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School, which is a 3rd tier school dedicated to taking in losers that couldn’t get accepted by mainstream schools such as Rutgers, Ohio State or NYU.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Donald guilty of misconduct.

Donald had the chutzpah to settle the personal injury claims of two clients (victims) without the client’s knowledge or authority.

Even worse was the fact that Donald then forged his clients’ signatures on the settlement releases, and then signed his own name as a witness to the forged signatures. Donald then personally notarized the documents.

Of course it goes without saying that Donald never informed his clients that he had settled their claims. What a guy!

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Donald by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in New Jersey are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Donald was never criminally charged for forgery.

As we speak (ca. June 2013) Donald practices at 66 Briarwood Road in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
