Attorney Robert Armstrong of Jersey City; ethical elf

The state of New Jersey presented Robert C. Armstrong with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Robert guilty of misconduct.

Robert failed to safeguard the funds of his client and in doing so allowed a portion of those funds to be misappropriated (stolen).

Robert wrote a check from his office trust account on behalf of a client; however there were insufficient funds in the account to cover the bank fees he owed.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Robert by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. June 2013) Robert practices at 232 4th Street in Jersey City, New Jersey.
