Rep. Dwayne Bohac (R-TX): Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

State Rep. Dwayne Bohac (R-TX)
Today’s “Moron”Award Winner

Rep. Dwayne Bohac is the moron operating in the Texas legislature who sponsored what is referred to as the “Merry Christmas Bill” in an effort to fight the phantom “War on Christmas.”

House Bill 308 allows public school teachers to say “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Hanukkah” and display Christmas trees, nativity scenes or menorahs.

In support of his assine legislation, Dwayne the Moron said, “Teachers have enough on their plate to worry about whether the school district’s going to be sued or if they can call a Christmas tree a Christmas tree.”

The moron then told KTBC in Austin that he came up with the idea when his six-year old son told him about how he had “decorated the holiday tree with holiday ornaments.” I personally doubt that the Moron’s claim about his son is true.

Dwayne then went on to say, “I was a little bit flabbergasted and a little bit upset that we’ve become so politically correct we can’t call a federal holiday by its name.”

In honor of Dwayne, I think a new federal a federal holiday is in order, which we’ll call “Dwayne the Moron Day.”

With all of the economic problems facing Texans, a law should be passed to make Dwayne and his fellow Morons pay for the total cost of putting forth this type of screwball legislation. Put simply, why should normal Texans be forced to pay for this type of moronic behavior?

Congrats Dwayne; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Premier “Morons”; you are far too humble.
