Rep. Rayne Brown (R-NC): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
In 20010, Rayne succeeded in duping the voters in the Lexington, North Carolina area into electing her as a member of the North Carolina General Assembly.
Recently, Screwy Rayne introduced legislation that would specifically prohibit the barring of women’s breast. The proposed legislation would make it a felony to expose “external organs of sex and of excretion, including the nipple, or any portion of the areola [nipple], of the human female breast.”
Screwy Rayne said she was prompted to propose the legislation because of Asheville’s second annual topless protest and women’s rally in August 2012. The Asheville Citizen-Times reported that the event drew around a dozen women, who took their shirts to “promote women’s equality.”

One thing everyone in the Asheville area can be thankful for is the fact that Screwy Rayne didn’t appear at the rally and take off her shirt.
With all of the pressing problems facing the citizens of North Carolina, Screwy Rayne finds it acceptable to waste tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars attempting to push her puritanical beliefs on everyone else.
Congrats Rayne; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Most Disrespected “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
