The state of Connecticut provided Marie N. Jean with a law license in 1996.
The Statewide Grievance Committee found Marie guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Marie found it acceptable to write a check for $455 on her office account when she knew there were not sufficient funds in the account to cover the check (rubber).
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Marie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
Because Attorney Misfits in Connecticut are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Marie was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.
As we speak (ca. May 2013) Marie continues to practice in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
