Attorney John Stewart of Lambertville, MI; ethical leprechaun, loser

The state of Ohio presented John Charles Stewart with a law license in 1989 after he graduated the University of Toledo Law School. The state of Michigan also provided John with a license to practice law.

The Toledo Bar Association found John guilty of the following misconduct
  1. Failed to act with due diligence
  2. Failed to provide competent legal representation (moron)
  3. Failed to comply with court ordered discovery
  4. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  5. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Johnny!)
  6. Failed to maintain adequate records of client trust accounts
  7. Failing to perform contracted work on behalf of several clients
  8. Failed to return client files to client after being fired
  9. Failed to return unearned fees to clients after being discharged (crook)
  10. Failed to reasonably communicate with clients
  11. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests upon withdrawing representation
  12. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  13. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  14. Refused to acknowledge the wrongfulness of his conduct
  15. Attempted to downplay the severity of his egregious misconduct
  16. Failed to obey court orders on several occasions
  17. Failed to keep clients reasonably informed of status of legal matters
  18. Failed to deposit clients’ funds in interest bearing accounts
  19. Failed to promptly deliver funds to clients as required
  20. Failed to inform clients that he did not retain legal malpractice insurance
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) John practices at 3600 West Sterns Road in Lambertville, Michigan, which is basically a suburb of Toledo, Ohio.
