Attorney Regina Hilburn of Columbus, OH; lying loser

The state of Ohio presented Regina Lynn with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from The Ohio State University Law School.

The Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline found Regina guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to respond to client requests for information
  3. Failed to notify client about status of legal matter
  4. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Regina!)
  5. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  6. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
Regina’s malfeasance and gross incompetence in failing to advance the cases of her clients resulted in court actions that were adverse to the interests of her clients.

During a contempt proceeding arising from her neglect of one case, she told the judge that she had been in contact with the Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program (OLAP) to seek help with mental heal issues that had contributed to her substandard performance, which in fact she had never made any such contact.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Regina by gifting her with a complimentary180-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) Regina practices at 118 East Main Street in Columbus, Ohio.
