Attorney Anthony DeGidio, Jr. of Toledo; ethical misfit

The state of Ohio presented Anthony James DeGidio, Jr. with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Toledo University Law School.

The Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline found Anthony guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Tony!)
  2. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  3. Wrote checks on an account with insufficient funds (rubber)
Tony found it acceptable to commingle his personal funds with those lawfully belonging to his clients. Tony used client trust account funds to pay personal expenses. What a guy!

Because Attorney Misfits in Ohio are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Tony as never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Anthony by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) Anthony practices at 2815 Scarlet Oak Drive in Toledo, Ohio.
