Attorney A. Gary Wilson of Wilmington, DE; repeat offender, moron

The state of Delaware presented A. Gary Wilson with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School.

The Delaware Supreme court found Wilson guilty of the following misconduct.

Wilson’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to obey a court order
  3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  4. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  5. Failed to provide information in timely matter to Disciplinary Counsel
Wilson’s misconduct involved his handling of two probate matters. In on probate case he failed for almost three (3) years to distribute over $272,000 in funds to the beneficiaries of the estate.

Wilson also failed to designate an estate account with his bank as an overdraft notification account. He then inaccurately (lied) on a Certificate of Compliance with Supreme Court that each attorney trust account had been designated for overdraft notification.

Making matters worse is the fact that Wilson had previously received a complimentary “private admonition” from the comedians sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court involving his mishandling of a probate case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Wilson by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Wilson’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Failed to abide by the rules of the Court of Chancery in probate matters
  2. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  5. Failed to place estate funds into interest bearing account

In this instance, Wilson failed to complete twenty-three (23) estate matters to their conclusion. Wilson also failed to disburse over $50,000 in funds from an estate to a charitable beneficiary of an estate for over sixteen (16) years.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Wilson by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2013) Wilson practices at 5307 Limestone Road in Wilmington, Delaware.
