Robert’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Robert asked the Family Court to enter an emergency order authorizing the sale of the marital home.

The “emergency” was created by the false allegation that foreclosure on the marital home was imminent. The Family Court judge entertained Robert’s sham request for emergency relief on an ex parte (one-sided) bases, believing that Robert’s misleading account that account that his client’s ex-wife was not able to be located. The Court then granted the requested relief and the marital residence was sold without notice to the former wife, who could Robert knew could have easily been notified.
