Gov. Sam Brownback (R-KS): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
In November 2010, Sammy duped the voters in Kansas into electing him as their Governor. Prior to that, Sammy spent 15 years porking out at the public trough as a US Senator from Kansas.
Sammy is yet another licensed attorney who apparently didn’t do well while attending classes on constitutional law at the University of Kansas.
In April 2013, Screwy Sam signed into law a law passed by his fellow Screwballs in the legislature that would prohibit the enforcement of federal gun laws on all guns that are made and stay in Kansas.
The idiotic law further states that any federal agent who enforces a federal gun law on a “made-in-Kansas” gun would face felony charges.”
Only a Certified Screwball would even support such an unconstitutional law. What would prevent Kansas from refusing to enforce federal laws prohibiting machine guns and hand grenades if those illegal products were manufactured in stayed in Kansas?
If I was U.S. Attorney Eric Holder, I’d let Kansas legalize arming its citizens with grenades, machine guns and rocket launchers as long as they are limited to using them against fellow Kansans. Put simply, if you live in California or Oregon why would you give a damn if Kansans were killing each other with hand grenades, etc.?
Congrats Sammy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Most Accomplished “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
