Attorney Edmond Neal III of Sturbridge, MA; repeat offender
The state of Massachusetts presented Edmond A. Neal III with a law license in 1979.
The Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers found Edmond guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Edmond was hired to represent a client in employment discrimination, pay disparity matter. Edmond agreed to represent the client on a contingency fee basis.
Subsequently, Edmond filed the claim against the employer in the Norfolk Superior Court. The employer then filed a motion for summary judgment in regards to the client’s pay disparity claim and served a copy of the motion on Edmond. However, Edmond failed to respond to the motion, which led the court to grant it thereby causing the client’s case to be summarily dismissed.
Edmond never advised his client that the employer filed a summary judgment motion and he also didn’t tell him that the motion was granted by the trial court.
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Edmond’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging inn a variety of misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Edmond by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. May 2013) Edmond practices with the Neal Law Office at 171 Charlton Road in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
