Attorney Kevin MacDonald of Brookline, MA; lying Dufus

The state of Massachusetts presented Kevin Joseph MacDonald with a law license in 1998.

The Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to return phone calls to times
  3. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  4. Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matters
  5. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
While representing two clients, Kevin failed to make certain court filing with their time requirements, thereby causing his clients; lawful claims to be time-barred or dismissed by the trial court.

In an effort to reactivate his client’s cases, Kevin made false statements in affidavits he submitted to the United States District Court and to the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission and backdated two documents he submitted to the Labor Commission.

Kevin’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defenses

In an effort to mitigate his egregious misconduct, Kevin claimed he suffered from depression and was severely sleep deprived.

These claims don’t pass the involuntary laugh test. I perjured myself and attempted to perpetrate a fraud on the Labor Commission because I was “severely sleep deprived.” In truth, Kevin was “severely ethics deprived!”

As one would suspect, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers bought into Kevin’s BS.

Because Attorney Misfits in Massachusetts are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Kevin was never criminally charged with perjury or obstruction of justice.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) Kevin practices at 1330 Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts.
