Attorney Fred Clinton of North Palm Beach; ethical goblin 
The state of Florida presented Fred Clinton with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Florida State University of Law School.
The Florida State Bar found Fred guilty of the following misconduct.
. Fred is the owner and controlling lawyer of the Cohen Norris firm. In this capacity, Fred hired his long-time friend and former employee Andrew Jacobson to work in his law firm as a paralegal. At the time that he hired Jacobson, Fred well knew that Jacobson had been disbarred.
Because Jacobson was a disbarred lawyer whom Freddy hired as a paralegal in his firm, Freddy was required to file sworn quarterly reports with the Florida Bar. The reports were to include statements attesting under oath to Freddy’s supervision of Jacobson to ensure that no aspect of his paralegal work involved the unlicensed practice of law, and to ensure that he had no direct client contact, and did not receive, disburse or otherwise handle trust funds or property.
Despite said prohibitions, Freddy knowingly allowed Jacobson to deal directly with clients on various matters, thereby assisting Jacobson in the unauthorized practice of law. He also illegally shared attorneys with Jacobson.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Fred by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
