Attorney Paul Whetstone of Morristown, TN: ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Paul Gregory Smith Whetstone with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the Nashville University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Paul was convicted of criminal contempt by the Jefferson County General Sessions Court after he interrupted court proceedings, became argumentative with the trial judge, and failed to take his seat with ordered to do so.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paul by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May) Paul practices at 134 North Henry Street in Morristown, Tennessee.
