Attorney Lawrence Rubin of Bala Cynwyd, PA; tax cheat, loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Lawrence L. Rubin with a law license in 1978.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to consult with client re: scope of representation
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
  4. Failed to notify client or third party of receipt of funds on their behalf
  5. Failed to promptly deliver client funds to client when requested to do so
  6. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  7. Facilitated the theft of client funds by former partner
  8. Failed to pay taxes owed to the State of Pennsylvania and the IRS
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Lawrence by gifting him with a 1-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Pennsylvania are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Lawrence was never criminally charged with facilitating the theft of client funds by his prior partner.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Lawrence practices at 17 Snowden Road in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

Warning: Lawrence does not carry legal malpractice insurance
