Rev. Jim Garlow: Today’s “Homophobe” Award Winner
Rev. Jim is yet another rightwing Screwball who has likely earned millions of dollars over the years spewing forth various epithets aimed at the gay community.
During a recent interview on the Janet Mefferd comedy radio show (ca. 3/26/13), Jimmy decided to elaborate on his theory that gay people don’t actually want to get married. Jimmy told Mefferd that gay people want to “destroy marriage” and “force us to affirm an immoral behavior.”
Jimmy then warned that if the U.S. Supreme Court affirms marriage equality, Christians will be “forced underground. Their buildings will be taken away from the, many of their rights will be taken away from them.”
Rev. Jim’s screwy rants are further proof that in addition to being a Certified Homophobe, he’s also a Lunatic and an inspiring Standup Comedian. Put simply, Jimmy will say anything if he believes it will personally enrich him at the expense of the truth.
Of course it cannot be disputed that Rev. Jim is basically an unapologetic crook. The table below proves that Jimmy finds it acceptable to hose his followers by charging exorbitant prices for books he authored. What is truly galling is the fact that Jimmy doesn’t have to pay any income tax on the profits he earns from selling his books.
And lastly, forcing Homophobic Lunatics like Jimmy underground would be like really cool.
Congrats Jimmy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Premier “Homophobes”; you are far too humble.
