Rick Santorum: Today’s “Homophobe” Award Winner
Rev. Rick has dedicated a vast majority of his time as a U.S. Senator and candidate for the presidency by repeatedly spewing forth a variety of venomous comments about marriage equality.
Rick is a graduate of Dickinson School of Law located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. As a lawyer it is a given that when Ricky’s lips are moving that he is likely lying!
During a recent interview on the The O’Reilly Factor Comedy Hour, Ricky was asked about his opinion on gay marriage. Screwy Ricky said, “…the consequences are you’re probably going to have less children. It’s happening as we see it. It’s already happening in America.”
Ricky then went on to say that the idea of marriage being defined as a union between a man and a woman “having children and furthering society has been diminished.”
Clearly, Ricky doesn’t know what in the hell he’s talking about. Heterosexuals have done a bang up job of screwing up marriage. At least 50% of marriages involving straight folks end up in divorce court. In fact, states that are populated by ultra-conservatives (bible thumpers) have some of the highest divorce rates in the Nation. Among the top 10 states for divorces after Nevada are:
It isn’t unusual for over-the-top homophobes to actually be homosexuals themselves, such as the Rev. Haggard. It may well be that Ricky has some problems with his sexuality. If so, maybe he should consider coming out of the closet.
Congrats Ricky; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Least Appreciated “Homophobes”; you are far too humble.
