Attorney Richard Mooney of Pembroke, NH; convict

The state of New Hampshire presented Richard C. Mooney with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from St. John’s University Law School in Jamaica, New York.

In later 2011, Richard was charged with seeking sexual services from a prostitute at the Red Roof Inn motel in Salem. Salem police arrested Richard following a months-long prostitution investigation at local motels.

When a local reporter asked Dick if he solicited a prostitute, he said, “I can’t deny it, but I’m not guilty.” The reporter should have known Dick was lying since his lips were moving when he said “I’m not guilty.”

In a laughable twist, Dick is a divorce and family law attorney that practices with Richard C. Mooney & Associates.

Dick was also charged with hindering apprehension for warning the prostitute that she was under police surveillance. Dick called the woman after Salem police spotted him leaving a room at the Red Roof Inn and stopped him on Pelham Road to question him.

The prostitute was not charged in exchange for cooperating with prosecutor. She told police that Dick paid her $200 for the services she performed.

In early April 2013, Dick pleaded guilty soliciting a prostitute and received a complimentary $1,000 fine as his punishment.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Dick practices with Richard C. Mooney & Associates at 385 Pembroke Street in Pembroke, New Hampshire.
