Attorney Robert Brown of Mesa, AZ; ethical leprechaun

The state of Arizona presented Robert C. Brown with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of New Mexico Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to keep clients reasonably informed about status of legal matters
  3. Failed to consult with client concerning court judgment
  4. Failed to promptly respond to client requests for information
  5. Failed to fully cooperate with disciplinary authorities (Up Yours, said Robert!)
In one matter, Robert failed to consult with a client concerning a stipulation to the entry of a judgment, and then allowed a judgment to entered which adverse to a client’s interests, and did so without the client’s knowledge. To make matters worse, Robert did not advise the client of the adverse judgment.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Robert by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Robert practices in the Mesa, Arizona area.

Warning: Robert doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
