Attorney Phillip White of Seattle; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Phillip D. White with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the John Marshall Law School at the University of Chicago.

The Arizona State Bar found Phillip guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  2. Failed to communicate with client
  3. Failed to respond to repeated client inquires
  4. Failed to carry out a contract of employment
  5. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  6. Neglected a client’s case
  7. Failed to represent a client zealously
After accepting a retainer of $900 from his client, Phillip failed to competently counsel her as to her legal rights. Moreover, Phillip had the audacity to retain the retainer his client gave to him even though he failed to prosecute her case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Phillip by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2013) Phillip practices at 4116 58th Place SW in Seattle, Washington.
