Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner
Asa was presented with a law license by the state of Arkansas after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School in 1975.
Asa (American Sycophant Association) is a well known right wing conservative who has dedicated his political career in acting as an apologist of the NRA. Recently, the NRA and its Lunatic CEO, Wayne LaPierre hired Asa to prepare a report on school safety, which was funded by the NRA.
There is no doubt that Asa agreed to act as Whore in Chief for LaPierre in assembling a group of 12 like-minded whores to provide a report that supported LaPierre the Loons screwball gun right claims.
Asa’s 225-page report didn’t recommend any specific kind of firearm for school security; however, Asa said, “Everything from a sidearm, to a shotgun, to an AR-15” would work.
The AR-15 is an assault rifle that was originally produced for the U.S. armed forces. Put simply, it was specifically designed to kill America’s enemies during war.
I suppose it won’t be long before Asa and his fellow Loon, Wayne LaPierre will recommend that armed school guards be allowed to carry hand grenades and/or rocket launchers.
During an interview (ca. 04/02/13) with Lawrence O’Donnell, host of the Last Work with Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC, Lawrence asked Asa how much he was paid by LaPierre and the NRA to produce his 275 page report. Asa became quite agitated at the question and told Lawrence that “it wasn’t any of his business.”
We can assume that LaPierre paid Asa the Whore the going rate to produce a favorable report.
In a lame attempt at levity, LaPierre and the NRA put out a statement on the report, over which the NRA insisted it had no influence. Clearly, LaPierre missed his calling as a standup comedian. LaPierre the Comic went on to say that Asa’s report “will go along way to making America’s schools safer.”
Congrats Asa; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Least Appreciated “Bullshitters”; you are far too humble. |
