Attorney Marvin Vallejo of Los Angeles; convict

The state of California provided Marvin Ezequiel Vallejo with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles, a 3rd tier

The State Bar Court found Marvin guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Marvin was convicted of two counts of violating a restraining order, both of which were misdemeanors.

Whilehe was employed as a law clerk at a Los Angeles firm, Marvin befriended a woman who he "continuously and persistently" contacted despite her efforts to have no contact with him.

After he became a lawyer and worked for another firm, the contacts continued and Marvin evenutal was told not to come to the law office. The woman obtained a restraining order against Marvin, who continued to send her e-mails. The woman reported him to the polcie and he was charged with four (4) criminal misdemeanors.

Subsequently, Marvin pleaded no contest to two criminal counts, received 36 months of probation including 30 days of Caltrans work, was fined $100 and received a stay away order of 100 yards.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Marvin by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Marvin continues to practice in the Los Angeles, California area.
