Since ascending to the U.S. Senate in January 2011, Mike has dedicated his career to proving that he is one of America’s Premier Screwballs, Bullshitters and Aspiring Standup Comedians.
 
Mike is well known and respected for his bigotry and racism among fellow bigots. In addition, Don is one of America’s Premier Screwballs and Aspiring Standup Comedians.
 
Shumway recently joined hands with fellow Screwballs and Lunatics, Senators Rand Paul of Kentucky and Marco Rubio of Florida in acting as chief apologists and enablers for the NRA and its chief Loon Wayne LaPierre.
 
Screwy Shumway (SS) then said in part:
 
  • “Along with my colleagues [fellow Screwballs] Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas, I have informed the Majority Leader that we will exercise our procedural right to require a 60-voate threshold in order to bring any of the president’s proposals to the floor.”
  • “Second, this debate is about more than magazine clips and pistol grips. It is about the purpose of the Second Amendment and why our constitutionally protected right to self-defense is an essential part of self-government.”
 
Shumway graduated from BYU’s Reuben Clark Law School in 1997. Apparently, the Reuben Clark Law School doesn’t provide any classes in Constitutional Law. If it did, Screwy Shumway wouldn’t put forth such asinine arguments in regards to the 2nd Amendment. To argue that universal background checks is a constitutional infringement on the 2nd Amendment only proves that Shumway missed his calling as a Standup Comedian.
 
Furthermore, there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that states 60 votes are required in the Senate to pass legislation. In fact, my trusty abacus tells me that 51 votes in the Senate would constitute a democratic majority.
 
And lastly, in the 2010 senate election in Utah, Shumway received 390,000 votes. To suggest that this buffoon (my apologies to buffoons) has the right to prohibit a vote on legislation regarding universal background checks when 90% of the voters support it is an outrage. Almost I28 million folks voted in the 2011 presidential election. 90% of those voters amount to 115 million voters. Therefore, Shumway is no position to tell these 115 million voters that he’s their Boss.
 

Congrats Shumway; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Most Disrespected “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
