Attorney Elizabeth Rodriguez of Dover, DE; unethical cheater

 
The state of Delaware presented Elizabeth K. Rodriguez with a law license in 1985.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Elizabeth guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to consult with client re: legal matter
  3. Charged a clearly unreasonable fee
  4. Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after being discharged
  5. Committed a criminal act reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law
  6. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  7. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  8. Failed to respond to client inquiries
  9. Failed to appear at scheduled court hearings on behalf of her clients
  10. Failed to maintain her books and records in compliance with the Rules
  11. Lied to auditor the existence of her books and record
  12. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  13. Committed multiple violations of the disciplinary rules
Elizabeth found it acceptable to accept fees for legal work which ultimately was unable to provide. She also engaged in dishonest conduct in representing a client by directing him to sign several blank affidavit forms that she intended to use in litigation.
 
In addition, when a receiver was appointed to review Elizabeth’s books and records, she lied to the auditor about the existence of said records.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Elizabeth by gifting her with a complimentary 4-year suspension of her law license.
 
As we speak (ca. March 2013) Elizabeth practices with Curley, Rodriguez & Benton, LLC at 250 Beiser Blvd in Dover, Delaware.
