Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner
Sen. John Cornyn has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. From 1984 to 2013 (29 years), Johnny’s wages have been paid by federal and/or Texas taxpayers. Of course it is not surprising that John is an accomplished Bullshitter since he’s a lawyer who received his license from the State of Texas in 1952 after graduating from St. Mary’s Law School.
Recently Johnny voted against renewing the Violence Against Women Act. He then had the chutzpah to celebrate the passing of the Act and Obama’s signing of it into law.
John the Bullshitter went one step further when he praised a portion of the Act called the Sexual Assault Forensic Reporting (SAFER) Act, which helps to reduce the number of rape kits in the possession of law enforcement authorities but not yet tested.
In addition to being a Premier Bullshitter, Johnny is also one of America’s Premier Hypocrites and Screwballs.
Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Premier Bullshitters; you are far too humble.
