Attorney Lawrence Roberts of Pompano Beach; briber

The state of Florida presented Lawrence Charles Roberts with a law license in 1972.

The Florida Bar found Lawrence guilty of the following misconduct.

On at least two occasions, Lawrence gave Judge Larry Seidlin gifts requested by the judge in order to receive Special Public Defender appointments from the judge.

During the grievance hearing, Lawrence admitted his actions were improper and that he did not turn down the judge’s requests because he “would have lost the favor Larry Seidlin to do wha

tever a Circuit Judge could do” for him and to “keep him happy.”

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Lawrence by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Lawrence practices at 133 North Pompano Beach Blvd in Pompano Beach, Florida.
