Newt Gingrich: Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Not satisfied with getting a good old fashioned ass whooping when he ran for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2012, Screwy Newt recently told Greta Van Susteren on Fox News not to count him out yet for a run in 2016.
When asked to comment on a possible run by Hillary Clinton, Newt said, “The Republican Party is incapable of competing at that level. First of all, she’s very formidable as a person. She’s a very competent person. She’s married to the most popular Democrat in the country. It makes it virtually impossible to stop her for the nomination.”
For Newt to actually believe that he could possibly be the 2016 nominee for the Republican Party doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test. Screwy Newt’s chances are about as good as his fellow Screwballs such as Sen. Rand Paul and/or Rep. Michelle Bachman.
It seems to me that Newt would be better served if he cut back on his homemade cocktail of LSD, Peyote and PCP.
Congrats Newt; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Premier Screwballs; you are far too humble.
