Attorney James Pancratz of Chicago; unethical leper-con

The state of Wisconsin presented James E. Pancratz with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found James guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  4. Illegally made a campaign contribution in the name of another person
  5. Engaged in criminal conduct
Jimmy was one of three crooked Chicago attorneys who attempted to purchase a Cook County Circuit Court judgeship in Chicago. Said conduct was a criminal act under Illinois law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished James by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) James practices with James E. Pancratz Ltd at 33 North Dearborn Street in Chicago, Illinois.
