Attorney April Bogdanski of Columbus, OH; moron, forger

The state of Ohio presented April Marie Bogdanski with a law license in 2002 after she graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Sheri guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Offered evidence she knew to be false
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on her fitness to practice law
  4. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  5. Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
  6. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  7. Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
  8. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  9. Committed multiple offenses
  10. Failed to cooperate in the disciplinary process (Up Yours, said April!)
  11. Engaged in deceptive practices during the disciplinary process
  12. Refused to acknowledge the wrongful nature of her conduct
  13. Refused to make restitution to her client (victim)
  14. Misconduct was harmful to vulnerable clients
In one matter, April represented Ruben Morales. April found it acceptable to forge Ruben’s signature on an affidavit, notarize his signature, and then file the forged affidavit in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Columbus.

April then forged Ruben’s signature on the verification page of his response to a request for production of documents, notarized his signature, and served for forged document on opposing counsel.

In another matter, April represented a client in a divorce action. April failed to promptly file the divorce action in court and defended her action by laughingly claiming that her car broke down and she had a broken finger. It took April the Moron almost one year before she finally filed the divorce action with the court.

April then failed to appear at a court scheduled hearing, which was supposed to be the first and final hearing in the case because the client and her husband had previously agreed on all terms of the divorce in a memorandum of understanding.

When April failed to appear for another hearing, she told the bailiff that she couldn’t attend because she suffered from food poisoning.

Subsequently, the trial judge held April in contempt of court for missing two scheduled hearings.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished April by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Ohio are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, April was never criminally charged for forgery or obstruction of justice.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) April practices at 875 Oakland Park Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.
