Judge Terry Graham of Wadsworth, NV; degenerate liar

Judge Graham succeeded in duping the voters in the Wadsworth, Nevada area into electing him as a Judge on the Wadsworth Justice Court in 2000.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline found Judge Graham guilty of the following misconduct.

One matter dealt with Judge Graham’s court clerk Kamee Copeland. During the time Kamee worked with Judge Graham she was involved in a personal relationship with Gary Raines who was separated from his wife Sharon.

Subsequently, Judge Graham assisted Kamee and/or Gary to illegally divert community property, without proper court authorization, to the exclusive use and benefit of Terry and Gary. The property involved two pieces of heavy construction equipment that was marital property of Sharon and Gary Raines, which was the subject of a mutually agreed restraining order issued by the Washoe County District Court. At the time, Even though Judge Graham was personally aware of sad restraining order, he personally took possession of the two pieces of construction equipment.

After taking possession of the construction equipment, Judge Graham personally paid off the debt owing on the equipment. While being interviewed by investigator Bob Schmidt, Judge Graham falsely told him that he financed the payoff of the equipment when in fact he never did so. Graham then lied to Schmidt by telling him that he had taken a loan from Kamee Copeland to finance the purchase of the construction equipment.

Judge Graham then went on to falsely tell Bob Schmidt that he used money he inherited from his friend, Fred Searles to finance the phantom loan from Kamee Copeland.

When investigator Bob Schmidt requested a third interview with Judge Graham to obtain a truthful statement or a clarifying statement regarding the precise manner in which he obtained the funds to pay off the debt on the construction equipment, Graham’s lawyer, Scott Freeman, declined the invitation.

Judge Graham’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense

On July 9, 2012, Judge Graham filed his answer to the Commission’s complaint by putting forth the following BS defenses.

He was a bonafide purchaser of the construction equipment
He purchased the construction equipment for his own use and benefit

It shouldn’t be long before a decision is rendered by the Judicial Commission. The decision should be to remove Graham from the bench and order that he be prohibited from ever sitting as a Judge in the state of Nevada.

As we speak (February 2013), Judge Graham continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace on the Wadsworth Justice Court.
