Attorney Garth Smith of Santa Cruz, CA; convicted cokehead
The state of Arizona presented Garth V. Smith with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School. Garth is also licensed to practice in California.
The Arizona State Bar found Garth guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
Garth was criminally convicted of one count of possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to three years of probation.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Garth by gifting him with a complimentary 30-month suspension of his law license. As we speak (ca. February 2013) Garth practices with Boroff Jensen Klein & Smith at 55 River Street in Santa Cruz, California.
It must be comforting to the folks in Santa Cruz to know that there is yet another convicted felon practicing law in their area compliments of the comedians sitting on the Arizona and Calfiornia Supreme Courts.
