The state of Kansas presented Scott Clinton Stockwell with a law license in 1984.
The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Scott guilty of the following misconduct.
Scott’s misconduct revolved around his negligent handling of an estate matter. In one instance he failed to timely file tax returns regarding the estate. He also engaged in other grossly negligent behavior while working on the estate on the behalf of the heirs (victims).
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Scott’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary private admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Scott by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. February 2013) Scott practices at 1311 Wakarusa Drive in Lawrence, Kansas.
