Today’s “Lunatic” Award Winner
Joe succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Murfreesboro, Tennessee area into electing him as the state representative of the 48th District in the Tennessee state legislature in November 2008.
Joe is another Lunatic that believes the 2nd Amendment guarantees that anyone can possess a fully automatic assault weapon along with a magazine that holds 100 bullets. In an effort to not be outdone by his fellow Lunatics, Joe recently introduced legislation (HB0042) in the Tennessee House that would make it a crime for federal law enforcement to enforce any new federal gun bans in Tennessee.
Joe said he offered the legislation to allow residents in Tennessee to “defend themselves from tyranny.” The Loon went on to say:
“In light of recent comments and actions take by President Obama and Vice President Biden, I believe it is necessary that Tennessee proactively promote, maintain and defend Tennessee’s sovereignty guaranteed to it in the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.”
“Additionally, this blatant assault on the Second Amendment by the Obama Administration is a systematic effort to disarm the law abiding citizens of the United States.”
In addition to being a Certified Lunatic, Joe is also a total Moron. This Moronic Lunatic is clueless as to the enforcement of federal laws. I would pay to see Joey the Loon try and arrest an FBI agent for enforcing any federal gun laws. If he so acted, it would likely result in Joey being provided with free room and board at the local mental institution.
