Attorney Michael Tinaglia of Rosemont, IL; criminal
The Illinois Supreme Court presented Michael Lee Tinaglia with a law license in 1977.
The Disciplinary Commission found Michael guilty of the following misconduct
During the closing on a Brickyard Bank Loan, Michael represented the interests of Greg, Patrick, Claudia and Kim. Two separate guarantees were executed by the parties, one for the amount of $143,865 due to Mr. Markowicz under a promissory note, and second in the amount of $75,000 under a note in favor of Mr. Long.
At the closing, Michael knowingly engaged in criminal conduct when he falsely notarized the signature of Claudia to a power of attorney despite the fact she wasn’t present. In the notary, Michael falsely attested that Claudia Nichole Lewis executed the within instrument in his presence.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Michael was never criminally charged for his conduct.
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Michael practices with the Law Offices of Michael L. Tinaglia Ltd. at 9700 West Higgins Road in Rosemont, Illinois.
